Who Are the Falcons?
Who We Are
Founded in 1994, the Surrey Female Hockey Association (Surrey Falcons) is a female ice hockey association whose boundaries include the entire City of Surrey and the City of White Rock. As part of BC Hockey and the Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association (PCAHA), our teams give females of different ages and abilities the opportunity to learn, play, and compete in Canada’s game.
Who We Play
Surrey Falcons teams compete against other female teams in their age division from different associations like the North Shore Avalanche, Richmond Ravens, Vancouver Angels, TriCities Predators and other female hockey associations in the PCAHA. PCAHA Rep teams from U13 and up are ‘tiered’ so that players of like ability compete against each other. There could be up to 3 or more "tiers" within each age division.
Surrey Falcons have teams in all minor hockey age divisions as follows:
Division | Age on December 31 |
U7 | 5 & 6 |
U9 | 7 & 8 |
U11 | 9 & 10 |
U13 | 11 & 12 |
U15 | 13 & 14 |
U18 | 15, 16 & 17 |
U21 | 18 & 19 |
