2024 - 2025 REGISTRATION

For the 2024-2025 season, it is anticipated that some Divisions may experience high registration numbers. Depending upon the number of teams which can be formed, some players may be wait-listed. In these cases, registration status will be determined based upon a first come, first served basis using the date and time when a player was registered through our online registration system. It is therefore important that you register early.

Player Requirements

• Live in Surrey or White Rock.
• Played minor hockey with Surrey Female Hockey Association last season.

Registration Steps

1. For Players, select a division from the table below to launch the appropriate registration form.  For Goalies in U11 to U21, select the bottom row to launch the appropriate registration form.  (NOTE: These links will become active when registration opens)

   • Division	Age on December 31, 2024

     U9	7 & 8
     U11	9 & 10
     U13	11 & 12
     U15	13 & 14
     U18	15, 16 & 17
     U21	18, 19, 20 & 21
     Goalies (U11, U13, U15, U18 & U21)	9-21

   • Login with your TeamSnap credentials (or create a new account if necessary) and follow the steps to complete the registration.
     • If the player wishes to participate in rep tryouts, you must select the 'Rep tryout' option.  Double check the amount of your registration to ensure it is the base division fee plus the rep tryout fee.
     • Please ensure the address shown in the system is current and matches the proof of residency you may be required to submit.

North Delta and New Westminster do not offer female teams.  As adjacent associations, players in any division from North Delta and New Westminster may play with any Surrey Falcons team.

Player Requirements

• Live in North Delta or New Westminster.
• Is registered with North Delta or New Westminster hockey associations.

Document Requirements

1. PCAHA Application for Player Movement form
2. PCAHA Player Registration Certificate form
3. Copy of the player's Birth Certificate

Registration Steps

1. Complete the 'PCAHA Application for Player Movement form'.
2. Have the 'PCAHA Application for Player Movement form' signed by the Registrar from the association the player is transferring from.
3. Complete the 'PCAHA Player Registration Certificate form'.
4. Copy or Scan the player's Birth Certificate.
5. Email all three (3) of the required documents to registrar@surreyfalcons.ca.
6. Wait for the SFHA Registrar to contact you.  At this point the SFHA Registrar is awaiting the player movement to be approved.  Once completed they will provide the necessary information for you to proceed with completing the registration online.

Player Requirements

• Live in Surrey or White Rock.
• Never played minor hockey before.

Document Requirements

1. PCAHA Player Registration Certificate form
2. Copy of the player's Birth Certificate
3. First proof of residence document from the following list:
   • utility bills (BC Hydro, gas, cable TV, Telus)
   • property tax statement
   • bank or credit card statements
   • income tax assessment or child tax credit
4. Second proof of residence document from the list above.

Registration Steps

1. Complete the 'PCAHA Player Registration Certificate form'.
2. Copy or Scan the player's Birth Certificate and the two (2) proof of residence documents.
3. Email all four (4) of the required documents to registrar@surreyfalcons.ca.
4. Wait for the SFHA Registrar to contact you with the next steps.  At this point the SFHA Registrar will be registering the player into the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) and creating a Hockey Canada ID.  Once completed they will provide the necessary information for you to proceed with completing the registration online.

Player Requirements

• Live in Surrey or White Rock.
• Was registered with another minor hockey association in the past.

Document Requirements

1. PCAHA Application for Player Movement form
2. PCAHA Player Registration Certificate form
3. Copy of the player's Birth Certificate
4. First A proof of residence document from the following list:

There is an additional $15 transfer fee charged by PCAHA payable to Surrey Female Hockey Association.  Please see the Additional Payment Information section for accepted methods and forms of delivery.

You live in another area (for example: South Delta, Langley, Coquitlam or Maple Ridge) which has a female hockey program but your association will not have an “A” team at U13, U15, or U18.  You will “Tryout” for one of our SFHA “A” teams but will return to your association to play “C” if you don’t make “A”.

As per PCAHA rules changes J(1)(a) and D(8)(a)(i); if in the past season or if you are currently registered with any of the following MHAs, Cloverdale, Surrey Minor or Semiahmoo you must register with SFHA by July 31, in order to be eligible to tryout for Female Rep hockey. Any registrations received after July 31, will not be able to tryout for Female Rep hockey. If you do not make the Surrey Female Rep team you may return to your local association to play “C” level hockey or remain with the Falcons to play female “C” level hockey.

Player Requirements

• Want to play on a SFHA "A" Team because the association where you live does not have an "A" Team.

Registration Steps

1. Review 'Section 16.3 Import Player Policy' of the 'SFHA Policy Manual' found here.
2. Complete the 'PCAHA Preliminary Tryout Approval form'.
3. Have the 'PCAHA Preliminary Tryout Approval form' signed by the Registrar from the association the player is transferring from.
4. Email the one (1) required document to registrar@surreyfalcons.ca.
5. Interac e-Transfer or bring the $200 Rep Tryout Fee to your first evaluation.  Please see the Additional Payment Information section for accepted methods and form of delivery.

Additional Information

If you are NOT named to the Surrey Falcons “A” Team you will return to your home association.

If you are named to the Surrey Falcons “A” team you will:

1. Complete the 'PCAHA Application for Player Movement form'.
2. Pay the registration fees.
