Player Development

Women's Hockey is one of the fastest-growing sports in Canada. Surrey Falcons believe in the importance of developing girls with life enhancing values (integrity, respect, and perseverance) while promoting healthy choices through the game of hockey.  It is important for players to develop their hockey skills within their own age level and gender as well as players with like-abilities.  The social interaction and teams skills that our players gain from playing with each other, is invaluable.

There are two streams of development (Rep and House) for female hockey players that offer challenges for all players within female hockey.

Surrey Falcons are proud to boast about our weekly development sessions that we offer to House and Rep Teams as a regular part of their season.

Initiation (H1-H4)

The 2016-2017 season weekly sessions with Chris Price were part of our (H1-H4) Initiation development working on skating and hockey skills.

Atom / Peewee / Bantam / Midget

All Atom and above teams would alternate between Power Skating Sessions with Kim Marfleet and Hockey Skills and Development with Advantage Hockey Group.

Goaltender Development

Now in its third full season, the Surrey Falcons Goaltender Development program will once again be led by Lynden Sammartino and LS Goaltending Consulting.

The Goaltender Development program includes one free weekly on ice instructional session.
