Changes for the 2024/2025 Season
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES FOR THIS UPCOMING SEASON:
Registration Fees
There has not been a change for awhile, but this year we have had to increase the fees. We have taken every factor into account to keep this increase as minimal as possible.
Rep Tryout Fee
The fee has increased to $200 this season.
Goalies
There will be an $85 fee this season for all goalies from U11-U18. This is the Affiliation Fee set out by PCAHA.
Payment Plan
We have extended the second payment date. Half of the payment will be due at registration, and the remainder is due by Aug 15. There is still no additional cost if choosing this payment method.
"A" Teams
There will be an A team for U13, U15 and U18. By registering for Rep Tryouts, you are declaring your interest in trying out for A.
We have had A2 teams in prior seasons. Deciding factors:
- How many players have registered for A Tryouts. Is there enough for two teams?
- Skills of players trying out for A. Do the evaluation scores show that an A2 team is warranted?
Note: by tiering C1, this keeps an A2 opportunity open. If this team is placed in a Gold flight for tiering games and is above all of the other teams in the flight, the C1 team may be asked to move up to A2 by PCAHA.
Tryouts/Evaluations
Rep tryouts will start Monday Sept 2. You can find the Evaluation Schedule for Phase 1 and 2 here. Teamsnap will be updated with group placement by August 26, 2024.
U11C1
The C1 Tryout Fee has been removed. All U11 players will be evaluated together and C1 will be tiered.
U11 - U18 "C" Teams
The C1 team will be tiered. The remaining house teams (C2, C3, C4) could be tiered or balanced. Registration numbers will play into this decision.
U7 and U9
The PCAHA Female Committee have approved the request for associations to increase team sizes to 15-18 players. Our final team sizes will depend on registration numbers.
Please note:
- PCAHA Female is not implementing Major/Minor like the integrated teams
- the increase in team sizes allows some associations to have one large team instead of two small teams. Two games can then be played utilizing the minimal ice that association may have.
U21
The Female Committee is working together to have two set days of the week for games. This should assist planning your work and school schedules.
